The Carbondale Public Art Commission is currently seeking fifteen (15) outdoor street sculptures for the annual rotating "Art Around Town" sculpture show. A $900 honorarium will be awarded to the fifteen selected artists, and a $1,000 "Best In Show" check will be awarded to the winner. The sculptures are located throughout Town and installed on marble bases. Sculptures that are selected for the show will also be marketed for sale during the year.
The annual show begins Thursday, June 6, 2019, with an artist/patron reception. Installations for the new show begin mid-May.
