                Special Event Permits must be filed with the Clerk’s office no later than 45 days before the event. If the special event requires the use of town facilities, attendance at a public hearing is required. Town fees are due at the time of application.

                Liquor license renewals must be filed with the clerk’s office no later than 45 days before expiration. The state will send your renewal application in the mail. If you do not receive your application, you can find a blank application here.  You may remit your payment to the Colorado Department of Revenue via their online payment portal using the link above. Applications can be emailed to the Clerk or dropped off in person during normal business hours. Town fees are due with the application.

                New Liquor Licenses and License Transfers require the following:

  • Public Hearing minimum of 30 days after the date of a complete application.
  • Form DR8404
  • Diagram of premises
  • Proof of property possession
  • Form DR8404-I for EACH officer/member/partner and manager registration
  • Fingerprints through the Carbondale Police Department (Call for an appointment)
  • Payment of applicable State Fees and Town Fees
  • Applications will not be marked as complete until all pieces of information are received.
